Wild Waves Theme Park in Federal Way has announced that its 2026 operating season will be its last after nearly 50 years of operation, citing rising post-COVID operational costs and significant financial losses. The park will open May 23 and close permanently on November 1, honoring all 2026 passes and planned events while offering a full final season that includes its popular summer attractions and Fright Fest. Premier Parks and property owner Jeff Stock expressed gratitude to guests, staff, and the community, noting that redevelopment plans for the site are in early stages and will be shared as they progress.
